Create one-of-a-kind Dichroic Glass Jewelry and Components. Students will learn how to design their pieces for maximum beauty and sparkle using a fabulous assortment of dichroic glass.

Topics covered will be cutting, stacking, etching glass and shaping cabochons, fused bead making, earring techniques, colors and textures, and the basics of dichroic theory.  Students will be shown how these items can be mounted into finished jewelry pieces to make pendants, beads, earrings, pins, or whatever your imagination can dream up (with in the limits of the class). 

Please wear cotton clothing and closed toed shoes.

Wire Wrapping Fused Gems

So you’ve taken the fused glass class. Now you have all these glass pieces. Are you asking yourself what next? Do you want to make your fused glass gems into pendants and make them look different than everyone else’s? Are you tired of gluing the same bails that everyone used? Then this is the class for you! You will learn some simple wire wrapping techniques to give your gems a one-of-a-kind look. In class students will make at least 2 pendants using sterling silver wire and fused glass pendants. Bring several pieces with you or the teacher will have some for you to purchase
